We are Expanding!

Here’s Why
Our primary Airline campus has once again reached capacity. There is no more asphalt at the Airline campus to purchase in order to make additional room for the new families being added.
Therefore we are faced with two simple choices:
  • Leave things “as is” and simply not make room for any more that the Holy Spirit would want to add to us.
Or,
  • Make a commitment to do what’s necessary to create additional space for more of those the Lord is adding.
For the elders and the the leadership, the choice was clear. Even though we’ve never had the goal to increase in size, we have over the years consistently responded to the needs of our increasing church family. We now are faced again with that same opportunity and privilege.
Here’s How
The only property we have to expand is our location in Flour Bluff (our South campus). We are coming back together to once again become one campus. We will be building a 2000 seat worship center adjacent to the existing NLC South campus building. This will add an additional 1000 seats over two services.
The first phase of the expansion will cost roughly 3.4 million dollars.
Here’s When
Our projected timeline to complete the Worship Center is Spring 2024. We are looking forward to being together again in one location as a church family. We will be sharing more details on the project in the coming weekends. We are so thankful for God’s faithfulness and we are thankful for your faithfulness, as well.
