Salvation is the free gift given to us by Jesus who died on the cross and rose again to pay the penalty for our sins. In acknowledging Jesus as our savior, we receive freedom from sin and its consequences and the promise of a relationship with him.

Water Baptism

Water Baptism is your public declaration of making Jesus the Lord of your life. We believe when you enter the baptism waters, the old is gone and all that remains is a brand new you.

Our Life Groups give you the opportunity to connect with people while you strengthen your faith. As our church grows larger, Life Groups help us stay connected in a small and personal way.

Generosity was something that marked the early church. Here at New Life, tithing is how we continue to be a tangible presence in our city.

Children

In New Life Kids, we believe and value three core pillars in leading your children:

  • Safety: Your child will be cared for in a safe, clean, and adult supervised area. All those serving with your children have been thoroughly background checked and trained.
  • Fun: Love Jesus is Fun! Your son or daughter will have fun; dancing, singing, playing, laughing, and connecting with their friends!
  • Learning: “Train a child in the way they should grow up…” Proverbs 22:6a. We believe in creating the space for your child to learn about God, Who Jesus is, what the Bible teaches, and how we can partner with our families to make disciples of Jesus!

Worship

We believe that worship is a holy response to a Holy God. When we join together in one accord to worship the Lord as the singers and musicians did in the scriptures, we believe the tangible presence of the Almighty God will fill the sanctuary resulting in changed, transformed and renewed lives. We are a presence-driven church that believes in the power of the Holy Spirit.

“…in Unison when the trumpeters and singers were to make themselves heard with one voice praising and thanking the Lord, and when they raised their voices accompanied by the trumpets and cymbals and [other] instruments of music, and when they praised the Lord, saying, “For He is good, for His mercy and loving kindness endure forever,” then the house of the Lord was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not remain standing to minister because of the cloud; for the glory and brilliance of the Lord filled the house of God.” (2 Chronicles 5:13-14 AMP)

Community

We believe you were sent here by God to experience fellowship and carry out the heavenly purpose that is built in you. We want to express to you the love of Jesus in its purest form and share in all that God is doing in NLC and in Corpus Christi.

  • Life Groups: Communities that impact eternity are birthed from groups of people meeting in homes with the unified purpose of taking ground in every area of their lives. Here, relationships are everything as we do our best to be the church God has called use to be.
  • Section communities: Section communities provide opportunities for friendships among the people who gather with us wherever we are seated during a Sunday service. They help create a deeper community experience for everyone, the way God intended.
