Seventy years ago, in January of 1954, a small group of people gathered to pray in the living room of Warren Piersol’s home.
This was the beginning of New Life Church.
Over the decades, faithful stewardship enabled our church to reach new generations with the power of the Gospel.
Under the leadership of Pastor Warren, these spiritual pioneers paid in full the debt of our first church building.
All that God has done in recent years was built upon the foundation of their faith and sacrifice. In the natural, it was impossible for them to foresee what our church would become. Here’s what they did know:
“IF WE PLANT TODAY, WE WILL HARVEST TOMORROW”
Remember this— a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop.
2 Corinthians 9:6
In early 2023, we announced our plan to construct a worship center that would facilitate the next chapter in our story.
This church family answered the call and raised over one million dollars in a relatively short amount of time. Although this sacrificial gift was significant, it’s only a portion of what was required to complete the project.
Now that we are in our new home, we have the opportunity to finish what we started. One thing is for sure, we too are leaving a legacy for the next generation.
The question remains, what will that legacy be – a blessing or a burden?
Here is my advice: It would be good for you to finish what you started a year ago. Last year you were the first who wanted to give, and you were the first to begin doing it. Now you should finish what you started…
2 Corinthians 8:10 – 11
The Warren Piersol Legacy Fund is a twenty-four month capital campaign to pay off the debt incurred from the construction of our new worship center.
In doing so, we will not only leave a spiritual inheritance for the next generation, we will leave a legacy of financial freedom.
We can do this. But it will take all of us working together. We need 100% participation. Please, pray and ask God what He would have you give. Thank you for your faithfulness and generosity. It is making the difference.
